Who we are
ProjectingIT is a consulting, AI transformation and training organisation based in Mumbai, India. We provide consulting services, AI implementation, and accredited certification training in project management, Agile and related disciplines.
In this policy, "ProjectingIT", "we", "us" and "our" refer to ProjectingIT, Mumbai, India.
For the purposes of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described in this policy. For individuals in the United Kingdom or European Union, we act as the Data Controller under the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation.
Information we collect
When you register for a course
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number, including country code
- Company or organisation (optional)
- The course and cohort you have selected
- Payment status and transaction reference (we do not receive or store card details)
When you submit an enquiry
For training, consulting or AI transformation enquiries, we may collect:
- Name, work email address and phone number
- Company name, job title and company size
- The service or course you are interested in
- A description of what you are trying to achieve
- Your preferred timeframe
- For AI enquiries, your current stage of AI adoption and, where relevant, your company website
Information collected automatically
- Pages you visit and how you arrived at our website
- The campaign or link that brought you to us (such as UTM tags)
- Browser type, device type and operating system
- Approximate location based on your IP address
Information we do not collect
We never receive or store your payment card details. Payments are processed entirely by our payment provider.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
Who we share it with
Service providers. We use trusted providers to operate our business, including providers of:
- Website hosting
- Database and data storage
- Email delivery
- Payment processing
- Website analytics and advertising measurement
Each provider is bound by contract to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us. A current list of our service providers is available on request.
Certification bodies. Where your course includes a certification examination that we arrange, we share the information needed to register you and issue your certificate — typically your name, email address and course details. Depending on your course, this may be APMG International, the Agile Business Consortium, or Scaled Agile, Inc. through our delivery partner. For PMP® and PMI-ACP®, you register for the examination directly with the Project Management Institute, and we do not share your data with PMI.
Delivery partners. Where a course or engagement is delivered with a partner organisation, we share only the information they need to deliver it.
Legal requirements. We may disclose information where required by law, or to protect our rights, safety or property.
Where your data is stored
Your registration and enquiry data is stored on servers located in India.
Some of our service providers operate internationally, so your data may be processed outside India — for example, when our website is delivered to you through a global network. Where data is transferred internationally, we take steps to ensure it remains appropriately protected. For individuals in the UK or EU, this includes appropriate safeguards for transfers outside the UK or European Economic Area.
How long we keep it

After these periods we delete or anonymise the data.
How we protect it
We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the data we hold, including:
- Encryption of data in transit across our website
- Encryption of stored data
- Access limited to team members who need it, protected by secure authentication
- Regular review of who has access to what
No system is completely secure. If a breach occurs that is likely to affect your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep the website working — for example, remembering what you have entered in a form. These cannot be switched off.
Analytics cookies help us understand which pages are visited and how people use the site.
Advertising cookies help us measure whether our advertising is effective, for example on LinkedIn.
We use analytics and advertising cookies only with your consent. You can change your preferences at any time through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
Your rights
If you are in India, under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you have the right to:
- Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it
- Correct, complete or update inaccurate personal data
- Request erasure of personal data we no longer need
- Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity
- Raise a grievance with us, and escalate it to the Data Protection Board of India if it is not resolved
If you are in the UK or EU, under the GDPR you also have the right to:
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Restrict how we process your data in certain circumstances
- Object to processing based on our legitimate interests
- Complain to your national data protection authority
To exercise any of these rights, email support@projectingit.com with the subject line "Privacy request". We will respond within 30 days, and may ask you to verify your identity first.
Marketing emails
We send marketing emails only if you have opted in. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.
Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop emails we need to send to deliver a course or engagement you have booked.
Testimonials
After a course or engagement, we may ask for a testimonial. We will never publish your name, job title, employer, photograph or recording without your explicit written permission. You can withdraw that permission at any time by emailing support@projectingit.com, and we will remove the content within a reasonable period.
Concerns and grievances
If you have a concern about how we handle your personal data, email support@projectingit.com with the subject line "Privacy grievance". We will acknowledge your message within 7 days and aim to resolve it within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India or, if you are in the UK or EU, to your national data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify registered users by email.
