The Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI is one of the most widely recognised project management credentials in the world. In 2026, with Agile delivery now woven into the exam, the PMP is more relevant than ever for modern project managers.

PMP-certified professionals earn an average of 25% more than non-certified peers, according to PMI's Earning Power survey. In India, that typically means ₹12–25 LPA.

  • Join a study group — discussing scenarios with peers accelerates understanding

Is PMP Worth It in 2026?

The PMP is recognised in over 200 countries and is frequently listed as a requirement for senior project management roles. It complements Agile-specific certifications like AgilePM — many experienced PMs hold both.
